5. Requirements and Dependencies

• The Plugin requires WordPress 6.0 or later and WooCommerce 8.0 or later.
• The Plugin requires PHP 8.0 or later.
• It is your responsibility to ensure your hosting environment meets these requirements.
• We are not responsible for conflicts with third-party plugins, themes, or custom code. We will make reasonable efforts to assist with compatibility issues through our support channels.

6. Purchases and Payments

• All purchases are processed through Freemius, our authorized reseller and licensing platform.
• Prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.
• Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) may be added at checkout depending on your location.
• By completing a purchase, you authorize Freemius to charge the specified amount to your chosen payment method.
• Automatic renewal: Annual licenses renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You will receive an email notification before renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Freemius account dashboard.

7. Support

7.1 Pro License Holders

• Pro license holders receive priority email support with a target response time of 24 business hours.
• Support covers: installation assistance, configuration guidance, bug reports, and general usage questions related to the Plugin.
• Support does not cover: custom development, third-party plugin conflicts (beyond reasonable investigation), server configuration, or general WordPress/WooCommerce troubleshooting unrelated to the Plugin.

7.2 Free Version Users

• Support for the Free version is provided on a best-effort basis through the WordPress.org support forum.
• We do not guarantee response times for Free version support requests.

8. Updates

• Plugin updates are delivered automatically through the WordPress admin dashboard for active license holders.
• Updates may include bug fixes, security patches, performance improvements, and new features.
• We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features in any update.
• We recommend keeping the Plugin updated to the latest version to benefit from security fixes and improvements.
• Major version updates that introduce breaking changes will be communicated in advance via email and changelog.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Plugin, including its design, code architecture, user interface, documentation, branding, and marketing materials, is the intellectual property of Glance Search.
• The Plugin’s PHP source code is distributed under GPLv2+. All other assets (CSS, JavaScript, images, icons, documentation) are proprietary unless otherwise stated.
• The « Glance Live Search » name, logo, and brand identity are trademarks of Glance Search. You may not use them without prior written permission, except as required for attribution under the GPL.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED « AS IS » AND « AS AVAILABLE » WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
• The Plugin will meet your specific requirements.
• The Plugin will be compatible with all themes, plugins, hosting environments, or server configurations.
• Search results will be accurate, complete, or relevant in all cases.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GLANCE SEARCH, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Plugin.
• Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLUGIN SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glance Search from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Plugin in violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Content or data processed through the Plugin on your site.

13. Termination

• By you: You may stop using the Plugin and deactivate your license at any time. Uninstalling the Plugin will delete all associated data from your database.
• By us: We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you breach these Terms, including but not limited to redistribution of the Plugin, sharing license keys, or circumventing license validation.
• Upon termination, you must cease using the Pro version and remove it from all sites. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10, 11, 12, and 14) shall survive.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
• If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also submit a complaint through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Glance Search regarding the use of the Plugin and the Website. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will:

• Update the « Last updated » date at the top of this page.
• Notify active license holders by email at least 15 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the Plugin after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
