At Glance Search , we stand behind the quality of the Glance Live Search plugin. We want every customer to be fully satisfied with their purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may request a refund.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new Pro license purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Plugin for any reason within 14 calendar days of your original purchase date, you may request a full refund.

  • The 14-day period begins on the date of purchase (the date the payment was processed), not the date of activation or installation.
  • This guarantee applies to first-time purchases only.
  • No reason is required. We respect your decision.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Eligible for Refund

  • First-time purchases of an annual or lifetime Pro license, requested within 14 days of purchase.
  • Duplicate or accidental purchases, regardless of the 14-day window.
  • Situations where the Plugin has a confirmed critical bug that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.

2.2 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Refund requests submitted after 14 calendar days from the original purchase date.
  • License renewals: Automatic or manual renewals are not eligible for refund. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time before the renewal date to avoid future charges.
  • License upgrades: If you upgraded from a lower-tier license (e.g., single-site to multi-site), only the difference paid is eligible for refund within 14 days of the upgrade.
  • Situations where the Plugin is functioning correctly but does not meet expectations that were not part of the advertised feature set.
  • Situations where incompatibility is caused by an unsupported hosting environment, outdated WordPress/WooCommerce version, or third-party plugin conflict that we have offered to help resolve.
  • Purchases made with the intent to copy, replicate, or redistribute the Plugin or its features.
  • Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider instead of contacting us, your license will be immediately revoked. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@glancelivesearch.com with the subject line « Refund Request ».
  2. Include the following information:
    • The email address used for the purchase.
    • Your order number or license key.
    • (Optional) A brief description of why you are requesting a refund — this helps us improve.
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed through Freemius, our licensing and payment platform.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Processing time: refunds are typically issued within 5-10 business days after approval. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the credit on your statement.
  • Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction. Exchange rate fluctuations are beyond our control.

5. After a Refund

Once a refund is processed:

  • Your Pro license key will be deactivated immediately.
  • The Plugin will revert to Free mode on your site (search functionality continues, but Pro features are disabled).
  • You will no longer have access to Pro updates or priority support.
  • You are not required to uninstall the Plugin — it will continue to work in Free mode.

6. Cancellation of Auto-Renewal

If you do not wish to be charged for a renewal, you can cancel auto-renewal at any time:

  1. Log in to your Freemius account (the link is available in your purchase confirmation email or in the Plugin’s License tab).
  2. Navigate to your subscription and click « Cancel ».
  3. Your license will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Canceling auto-renewal is not the same as requesting a refund. You will retain access to Pro features until your current license period expires.

7. Free Version

The Free version of the Plugin is provided at no cost. No payment is involved, and therefore no refund applies. If you experience issues with the Free version, please report them on the WordPress.org support forum.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

We reserve the right to issue refunds outside of the standard 14-day window in exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion. Examples may include:

  • A critical, reproducible bug that prevents the Plugin from functioning and that we are unable to fix within 30 days.
  • A significant feature removal in an update that materially impacts your use case, without adequate notice.

Such exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated « Last updated » date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
